DO YOU HAVE IN INVENTORY SOME STANDARD SIZES OF BAGS?
99.9% of IntroPak's orders are custom made. Bags or roll stock are manufactured to the specific size and thickness required for each customer's individual products. The only bags kept in inventory are for the packaging of ice (3 kg printed bag, 18 kg plain bushel bag) and 50 lbs plain master bags for produce.
I WOULD LIKE A PRICE ON SOME «1 LB» PLAIN BAGS?
Bags are manufactured world-wide in (1 lb, 2 lbs, 3 lbs,…) boxes purchased and imported to Canada and then distributed to fulfill smaller quantity requirements. Very often, these bags are made of unknown materials where no traceability can be made, and a customer never has the assurance that the bag for food is 100% hazard free. Due to the ISO22000:2005 accreditation implemented by IntroPak, we are prohibited to purchase and resell bags made of unknown materials.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM QUANTITY TO ORDER SOME CUSTOM MADE BAGS?
A minimum quantity for custom made bags can be as few as 5,000 as long as the material is available in inventory. If we have to order poly from our suppliers because we do not have it in stock, it may be necessary to order a greater quantity depending on the size and thickness of your packaging. However, we keep some stock items on the floor enabling us to make a limited number of bread, milk, ice and potatoes bags in the more popular formats. For particular sizes and thicknesses, we place a specific order with our supplier, to ensure that feedstock has been manufactured specifically for the customer's needs.
Throughout the entire production process, IntroPak is committed to providing superior safe products, especially when food safety is a major concern. To achieve this, IntroPak has ISO22000:2005 certification and has implemented this control system to ensure every product we manufacture adheres to the strict food packaging guidelines required.
